Tito Catacora

Biography

Director, screenwriter, and film producer based in southern Peru. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Intercultural Education, and has completed doctoral studies in Education. In 2021, he made the documentary feature film “Pakucha,” which was awarded at national and international film festivals. In 2023, he directed the fiction feature film “Yana-Wara” in co-direction with Óscar Catacora, and in 2024, he presents “Los Indomables.” Tito Catacora was the producer of the film “Wiñaypacha” directed by Óscar Catacora; the film was selected to represent Peru at the Goya and Oscar awards in 2019.
