Biography
Attila Bartha (born 1943, Budapest) was a Hungarian director, who graduated from the Academy of Drama and Film (Színház és Filmművészeti Főiskola) in 1973. Initially a contract worker, in 1980 he became a full-time employee at the Hungarian Television (Magyar Televízió, MTV) and worked there until his death. During his career, he earned nine awards of excellence in his field. He directed in a wide variety of TV genres, his favourites being documentaries, live broadcasts, quizzes, and magazine shows. Some examples of his work include the programmes "Ablak", "Parlamenti közvetítések", "Vasárnapi turmix", and "Halló vasárnap".
